The 9 As of AI Enablement: 9 Ways to Make AI Part of Your 2025

🎉 300 million weekly active users!

Last week, Sam Altman of OpenAI just announced that they have hit that milestone number.

Now, if the concept of active user metrics is new to you, LinkedIn (let’s connect if we haven’t!) reports 310 million monthly active users, compared to ChatGPT’s weekly active users. That’s for a 22-year old social media platform.

In contrast, it was only two years ago that ChatGPT was announced to the world.

Despite all the stats and news on AI adoption, I still get this question:

“Mav… I still don’t know why I need to use Gen AI so often, let alone pay for it.”

Now, as an AI enabler, that saddens me. Because the potential of AI is there. In an article two weeks ago, we just talked about the 370% average ROI on Generative AI, and that’s AVERAGE. AI leaders are reporting ROI of over 1000%! You can check out the article here.

However, as a marketer at heart, I take that as a challenge.

You see, habit changes are never easy, especially if you don’t see the “value” of that change. Let’s be real: if we don’t see the benefits of a tool – the WIIFM (What’s In It For Me) – our default response would be, “Why bother?”

So, wearing a marketer’s hat, let me see if I can change your mind on the benefits of using Gen AI regularly, or even signing up for a paid plan. (No, I’m not an affiliate, nor an investor of AI… yet)

In this article, we’re going to look at the nine ways AI can be “switched on” in your daily workflow.

And to make it exciting, on top of a simple story to illustrate how AI can be used across different roles, I’ve even included a sample prompt that you can copy, paste into any free Gen AI tool, made some slight alternations as you see fit, and see the magic happen in front of your eyes!

(If you want to improve your prompt using a simple checklist, check out our P.E.R.F.E.C.T. Prompt Formula here)

Hopefully, by the end of the 9As of AI Enablement, you will have at least one idea, one insight or one inspiration to make AI your work partner in 2025.

AI Enablement bright future

We all have 24 hours a day. AI can help you make the best out of every second!

ACCELERATE – The #1 A of AI Enablement

AI’s ability to speed up workflows and decision-making is unmatched, cutting timelines drastically and enabling faster results.

⭐️ Work Example

Meet Sarah, a project manager at BrightEdge Solutions, a midsized consulting firm. Sarah’s team was tasked with analyzing months of customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in their product. Typically, this process involved days of manual work—organizing surveys, pulling data, and analyzing trends. But this time, Sarah leveraged an AI tool designed for natural language processing.

With just a few clicks, the AI analyzed over 5,000 feedback entries in under an hour, highlighting recurring issues and even suggesting actionable solutions. By the end of the day, Sarah’s team had a clear action plan, saving them two weeks of effort. This newfound speed allowed them to roll out fixes within the same quarter, improving customer satisfaction metrics.

Sometimes, we operate with blindfolds on. AI can help remove those limitations.

AUGMENT – The #2 A of AI Enablement

AI enhances human capabilities by taking over routine tasks, enabling professionals to focus on more complex and creative work.

⭐️ Work Example

Dina, a customer support representative at GlobeConnect Telecom, often felt bogged down by repetitive queries about billing. This left her with little time to address more pressing customer issues. The company implemented an AI chatbot to handle common inquiries, such as account balances and payment methods.

With the chatbot managing routine tasks, Dina was able to dedicate more time to resolving technical issues and providing personalized support. Customers noticed the improvement, leaving higher satisfaction ratings. For Dina, the AI became an invaluable teammate, allowing her to focus on what she did best.

AMPLIFY – The #4 A of AI Enablement

AI doesn’t just make things faster—it magnifies your impact. By leveraging AI, businesses can scale their efforts with precision, reaching more people in less time and with fewer resources.

⭐️ Work Example Emma, a marketing manager at EcoGlow, a sustainable skincare company, had limited resources to create impactful campaigns. She implemented an AI-driven marketing platform to amplify their efforts. The AI analyzed customer data, segmenting audiences by buying history, preferences, and engagement patterns. It then suggested personalized campaigns tailored to each group.

ADAPT – The #5 A of AI Enablement

In a fast-changing world, businesses need to be agile. AI helps organizations adapt by analyzing trends, predicting challenges, and suggesting actionable strategies in real-time.

⭐️ Work Example

Rahman, a junior marketing executive at PulseWear, a wearable tech company, faced a daunting challenge when a competitor launched a similar product. Their usual marketing strategy wasn’t yielding the expected results, and the team struggled to identify the root cause.

Rahman proposed using an AI-powered trend analysis tool. The AI scanned social media conversations, industry news, and customer reviews, uncovering a growing interest in eco-friendly products. Armed with this insight, James suggested a quick pivot: highlighting the sustainability features of their product.

The campaign’s messaging shifted within days, resonating with the target audience. This adaptability not only salvaged the campaign but also boosted the product’s perceived value in a crowded market.

AI Enablement working with tech

If there’s one thing AI wins us on all fronts, it’s its ability to process a HUGE amount of data in record time.

ANALYZE – The #6 A of AI Enablement

AI processes and interprets massive amounts of data, turning complexity into clarity. By analyzing patterns, it empowers teams to make data-driven decisions quickly and confidently.

⭐️ Work Example

Priya, a senior HR executive at Innovate Solutions, was tasked with improving employee retention rates. Her team had access to years of employee engagement surveys, exit interview data, and performance reviews, but the sheer volume of information made it hard to pinpoint patterns.

To tackle this, Priya used an AI analytics platform designed for HR. The AI identified key trends: employees who reported a lack of growth opportunities were more likely to leave. It also flagged departments with higher turnover, offering deeper insights into possible causes.

Equipped with this data, Priya introduced tailored career development programs and department-specific engagement initiatives. Over the next quarter, employee satisfaction improved, and retention rates began to climb.

ANTICIPATE – The #7 A of AI Enablement

AI’s predictive capabilities empower organizations to stay ahead by identifying needs and outcomes before they arise. This allows teams to be proactive rather than reactive.

⭐️ Work Example

Maya, a sales analyst at NextWave Logistics, noticed her team frequently missed opportunities with long-term clients who eventually moved to competitors. The losses were often discovered too late to salvage.

To address this, Maya implemented an AI-powered CRM tool with predictive analytics. The AI flagged clients at risk of leaving based on declining engagement, delayed orders, and subtle changes in purchasing behavior. This allowed Maya’s team to reach out with customized retention offers before competitors could step in.

One client, impressed by the proactive outreach, even signed a multi-year contract extension. AI transformed the sales team’s approach, turning missed opportunities into long-term wins.

Now everyone can have their own assistant(s)!

ASSIST – The #8 A of AI Enablement

AI isn’t just about automation or data—it’s a powerful assistant that supports professionals in making precise and informed decisions in critical moments.

⭐️ Work Example

Ravi, a junior radiologist at ClearView Medical Center, often felt overwhelmed by the sheer volume of X-rays and CT scans he needed to review daily. While he was trained for accuracy, the pressure to maintain speed often left him second-guessing himself.

The hospital introduced an AI diagnostic assistant trained to analyze medical images. The AI flagged anomalies Ravi might have missed, providing a second layer of review. With this support, Ravi gained confidence in his work, improving both his speed and accuracy.

Patients benefitted from quicker diagnoses, and Ravi had more time to discuss cases with senior doctors, furthering his learning and growth. The AI didn’t replace him—it became a trusted partner in delivering better care.

🤖 Try It Yourself Prompt

🚀 Action Item/Recommendation

Look for AI tools designed to assist rather than replace, especially in areas requiring critical decision-making. These tools can act as a second set of eyes or hands, enhancing both confidence and performance.

AI Enablement potential

In rapidly shifting markets, AI can help keep you on track.

ALIGN – The #9 A of AI Enablement

AI ensures that processes, goals, and strategies stay in sync with market demands and organizational objectives, creating a seamless connection between vision and execution.

⭐️ Work Example

Tasha, a marketing manager at Skyline Events, struggled to align her team’s campaigns with the fast-evolving preferences of their audience. Despite brainstorming sessions and feedback loops, there was often a disconnect between what the audience wanted and what the campaigns delivered.

Her team adopted an AI-driven customer insights platform that analyzed social media trends, campaign performance, and competitor strategies in real time. The AI highlighted key audience preferences and suggested ways to fine-tune messaging and visuals for upcoming campaigns.

With AI’s guidance, Tasha’s team created marketing materials that resonated deeply with their audience, leading to higher engagement rates and stronger alignment with company goals.

AI Enablement future of work

The AI-human hybrid is definately happening.

AI-Enabling The Future Of Work

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. (And now what my Ma felt like when she’s “nagging” me. Sorry Ma!)

Just like 5G, social media, internet and any other wide-scale technological shifts that came before that, AI will do the same.

The way you work will change, and for the better too.

If there’s one thing we learn after going through these nine As, it’s that AI is a great assistant.

I mean, don’t you sometimes wish you got an extra set of helping hands?

That’s what you’re getting.

And how often does your “helping hands” ever replace your role in the company? So don’t let the fear of job replacement scare you. In fact, look at it from an angle of work evolution, not work elimination.

Citing an example that I always use, bank tellers did not lose their jobs when the ATM was introduced globally in the 80s. Their roles just, well, evolved!

When I was a Buddhist monk, my Master there are not many certainties in life, but one that happens daily is this:

“Whether you like it or not, by the end of today, the world will change. Your choice is this: Will you change the world, or will the world change you?”

AI Enablement next steps

The journey of a thousand steps… but with AI, it might just be less than 97.

Next Steps

  1. Reflect on your current workflows and identify which “A” could create the biggest impact.
  2. Choose one actionable recommendation from this article to test within your role or team. Or experiment with any of the prompts!
  3. Share your experience and insights with your colleagues—it could spark a ripple effect of AI-driven innovation.

    To your AI enablement success!
